Pursuit of Vengeance

Lara Conlon-Knox never saw it coming, the truck that took her life. Her husband, Homicide Sergeant Harding Knox, is devastated. Life, except for finding Lara’s killer has lost meaning. An off duty detail ends in disaster when a dismissed executive goes gunning for vengeance. In the wake of the carnage, Knox looses his partner, and the city’s minority leader is killed. The actions of Sergeant Knox are called into question, and his career plummets into a downward spiral.

Against policy and orders, Knox continues his search for Lara’s killer.

In the middle of the night he is provided an answer. Then a voice on the phone taunts him with volatile results. Another man puts Knox in his gun sights. Each is in pursuit of vengeance, as is Knox for an ex-cop blown up in the Wisconsin woods, for the death of his wife, and for the kidnapping of a thirteen-year-old girl. A chase through an unsuspecting Great Lakes city threatens further disaster that ensures the pursuit of vengeance is a persistent and perilous journey.
